We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy individual to join our team as a Cashier cum Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all cash transactions with customers, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the accounting department with various tasks.
Responsibilities
- Handling daily cash transactions and maintaining accurate cash records.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Preparing financial reports and assisting in budget planning.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Supporting the administrative team with financial queries and tasks.
- Any other tasks assigned by the Director Finance and Student affairs.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CMA, or AAT.
- Experience in educational institutions or similar environments is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid work permit for Qatar
